Relieving Pain and Improving Smiles
I enjoy meeting new people and helping them smile with confidence. As a dentist, I have the ability to get someone out of pain and restore their ability to eat, smile, and live life without dental discomfort.
When I was a little boy I decided I wanted to be a dentist when I grew up. My father has always had bad teeth and dental problems. He taught me to take good care of my teeth and I wanted to, even at that age, help my father and others with their dental health.
I’m glad to be working with such a great team, where we’re all focused on patients’ comfort and needs rather than making a lot of money. Our patients are important to all of us and we want to help them develop healthy, happy smiles they will always love.
Education and Continuing Education
- Doctorate of Dental Medicine, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine
Part of being a dentist is staying current on developments in treatments and technology. I take many hours of continuing education each year, so I can provide my patients with the best care for their needs. I’ve studied infection control, pharmacologic prescribing, the Endo Restorative continuum, scope of abuse, and about domestic violence, too.
I grew up in Seoul, South Korea and have lived in Silver Springs, MD, for several years. Most of my free time is spent at church or at home. I love watching movies.
I’m also involved in a medical mission team at my church. God has blessed me and allowed me to serve others. It’s not about me; it’s about Him and serving people.
